People demand a reality check among celebration of Biden’s win

--

Many people are glad that Democratic nominee Joe Biden is projected to win the 2020 presidential election, but others are wary about him and his ability to live up to the needs of the country.

The Associated Press called the 2020 presidential election for Joe Biden on Nov. 7. Some swing states were still counting votes at this time.

Many people are celebrating the Associated Press calling Biden as the next President of the United States. In between the happy Twitter posts and Instagram stories are some people with a less positive viewpoint.

On Twitter, people are posting reminders that Biden and the Democratic win won’t solve the problems the nation has been facing this year. They urge people to continue to do their part in raising awareness of issues that are close to them.

Others are reminding people that Biden isn’t “a hero for being the bare minimum.”

Only time will tell if the President-elect will live up to citizens' standards.
